@BattlefieldBen @CWGC I’ve signed up for their service in Bayeux cathedral and also the ceremony on 6th June, but they so far haven’t allocated tickets. It’s getting quite close to the event now 😕
@BattlefieldBen @CWGC Not forgetting the military cemetery at St Manvieu outside Caen close to the crossroads at Cheux. Here lie 1000 British and 400 enemy soldiers killed at EPSOM and Hill 112. Amongst whom lies my father, KIA on the night of 30th June while commanding First Battalion, Welsh Guards.
