@AHelpingHand4Me @GavinKing666 No. The person to blame is the Armorer who was in charge and responsible for the weapons she brought to the set. That’s not everyone. Overall safety on set falls to the 1st AD so he also Carrie’s the blame. Those two individuals are to blame. Period.

@AHelpingHand4Me @GavinKing666 Nothing magical happened. The armorer fucked up, the first AC fucked up just as bad not inspecting her work before announcing “cold gun”. But the actor, no matter who it was, is not to blame. They were doing their job creating a scene where a gun is fired at camera.

@AHelpingHand4Me @GavinKing666 Again this is why there is a weapons expert armorer in charge who keeps all weapons locked and secure before handing off to an actor. This armorer fucked up in the worst ways possible. A “cold gun” on set has been cleared to be handled like a rubber prop. That’s just the facts.

In 28 years why don’t you tell me how many civilian staunch believers in “gun safety” have caused an accidental death?

@AHelpingHand4Me @GavinKing666 If you have ever been anywhere near a set you would know that even with training, actors are way too busy and overwhelmed on set to be left as the last person checking weapons safety. It’s suicidal.

You trust the weapons professional you hired to keep everyone safe, along with the first AD who checks their work before handing off the gun and announcing it cold. I get you have an opinion.
