Sometimes I'm glad YouTube is blocked in China because I can admit these terrible feelings without my Chinese badminton friends knowing! youtube.com/watch?v=m42wGh…

Wife, friend, American. What happens when the labels that define us are all stripped away? When you find yourself divorced, friendless in a industrial, dingy city in Southern China unable to even order food by yourself? #Pitmad #mem #NF #IRMC

Part travelogue, part personal journey, CONFESSIONS OF A CHAMELEON is a journey around China, from small villages to modern, fast-paced cities like Hong Kong and Shanghai. But really it is a journey into an even more exotic location: myself. #Pitmad #mem #IRMC #NF

Sometimes I feel these things are just shouting into the void, but I'm nothing if not persistent and so I'm participating again.

After my husband of 15 year left I found myself alone, friendless living in southern China. Most women would go home to lick their wounds, but I saw living alone in a foreign country as a challenge to overcome...If only I could find the courage to leave my house. #pitmad #IRMC

I rarely use twitter because it is blocked in China and really, it is just another time suck. But I'm gonna try participating in #pitchmad this year! Looks fun. Now I just have to wait for the time difference to catch up with me....
