The results are in! BECTU members voted majority YES to the new TV Drama Agreement. This will come in to force on 1st January 2023. Join us tomorrow evening at 7:30pm where we will be giving a quick overview of the new agreement and answering any questions you might have.

Have questions about the proposed TV Drama Agreement? We are holding an informal Q&A session on Wednesday, to answer any questions you may have before you cast your ballot. Wed, 30 Nov 7:30pm Zoom link has been sent out to LPD Production/Accounts members via email.

It's run solely by crew, who work in Accts, Prod, Covid team (hopefully soon also Medics!) who volunteer their free time to ensure our rights and interests are represented. Be the change you wish to see! With many volunteers, each only has to do a little to make a BIG difference.

It would be great to have Medic's represented on the Committee this year! Spread the word to all your Medic friends. Make sure you register your interest in being on the Branch Committee by Mon 14th Nov (this Monday!)

Many hands make light work! We are looking to have as many committee members as we can, so that the work can be shared and each of us only has to commit a little of our time. Because let's face it, we already work long hours, we don't need another big commitment on top of that.

Next up: Health and Safety Officer! Perfect for anyone passionate about health and safety, or looking to gain more experience in this field.

Next role: TV Drama Rep! We need ideally 2 reps to carry on the final stages of the PACT negotiation. They will need to go thru the agreement with a finetooth comb to ensure it's fit for all our members before it is signed off and published. Can be combined with other roles.

Next role we would really like to fill: Learning Rep! So much opportunity here to get creative and create added value for our members by arranging training/webinars. We could even start a mentoring scheme, or you are welcome to suggest other ideas too.

Next role available: Communication Officer Ideally looking for multiple people to take on this role, so it's easier to be across all the channels. This role can also be combined with other positions. Great for anyone with social/graphics/canva exp. Training can be provided!

Another really important role is the Secretary. This role must be filled for our branch to continue. This role would be great for anyone who enjoys admin, understands GDPR or can type fast. Not a requirement though, training can be provided! Apply now!
