Is anybody else getting the feeling that maybe the “healthy” coping mechanisms they developed at the beginning of the pandemic weren’t meant to last for 3+ years? Because hoo boy I am having a TIME just existing, and not in a good way.
I for real didn’t think this sentiment would hit home for so many people. Thank you for the kind replies, advice, and virtual hugs.🥹
@BeeeCee It is so hard. I can only manage by focusing on the small pleasures I can find in life and LOTS of outdoor walks and time in the woods. Summer is better, because I can see and meet new people out of doors at a distance. Winter is coming, though. Taking it day by day.
@BeeeCee @Eman_Rimawi I'm sorry could I ask you what you mean by this?
@BeeeCee I feel heard. Like is it bad I don’t wanna leave me room bc I’m still binge watching shows 3 years later ? Absolutely.
@BeeeCee Exactly! You’re doing a GREAT job just existing in this cursed timeline, so don’t beat yourself up if you find it a struggle. One of my neighbors committed suicide…
@BeeeCee Frfr you can't healthy and positive thinking/action your way out of the trauma of consistent genocidal violence. Feeling terrible occasionally from that reality is far more normal than acting like that reality is acceptable, normal, and can be built around.
