More #quarantinebaking at Ben to Table HQ — with somewhat varying results! The Poilâne sourdoughs have only gotten better as my starter matures (right column). Upper left is a Poilâne sourdough rye. Bottom left? Well, that frisbee was my first attempt at a Tartine country bread.

Am I a #quarantinebaking cliche? Yes. ⁠ ⁠ Am I nevertheless extremely proud of this first sourdough? You bet your ass. ⁠ ⁠ From the Poilâne cookbook, I made this #bread using Maine Grains and King Arthur Flour (the ⁠Maine Grains Red Fife is from the April Essentials Box).

One beautiful thing about the ingredients in April's Delicacies Box? Simplicity. I took some greens, sliced some radishes, & opened a can of smoked salmon. Tossed with a dressing of the banyuls mustard, thyme, piment d'ville & fleur de sel (plus lemon juice & evoo), & voila!

Put the @RanchoGordo garbanzos and India Box spices to good use in a chana-masala-esque stew with tomatoes, potatoes, spinach, @burlapandbarrel cumin, cardamom, cloves, ginger, @diaspora_co turmeric, plus comapeño chili powder, garlic, & onion. Top with yogurt & chopped cilantro.
