Was just informed by a friend at Dodger Stadium that the guy that caught home run #700 from Albert Pujols is intending to keep it. He was approached. Offers were presented. Then left the stadium with the ball. At least for now… He’s holding on to the prized possession
@BenVerlander Which ball is worth more, this ball or Judge’s #62?
@BenVerlander Stop it as a cardinals fan for 20yrs albert deserves that ball
@BenVerlander @RexChapman We had a rule — leave the premises with a milestone ball without getting it authenticated, you now own just a baseball.
@BenVerlander That’s gonna change when Pujols offers 10M
@BenVerlander a real dodgers fan would have thrown it back on the field, that stadium was full of bandwagon sellouts cheering for an opponent hitting a home run, thats why that mid franchise cant win a real ring.
@BenVerlander As he should.. to be real these team coming with sign items... pll are struggling... walk up to someone wit a DAMN CHECK
@BenVerlander Pujols doesn’t want it. He always said it’s for the fans. Even his 2000 RBI ball he didn’t want.
@BenVerlander @RexChapman I was told he was high and if he left he would have trouble authenticating the ball
@BenVerlander @Kevk_18 Are the balls marked or is there now no way to know its real?
@BenVerlander Good call. Super wealthy athletes and organizations. Everyone getting paid. This guys turn now.
