When Wike was still in the PDP, he was fighting PDP governors such as Umahi, Ortom, Senator Dickson and several others. In 2023, he cornered some governors and named their group the Integrity Group, while fighting the governors who did not join his shenanigans. Today, he is fighting some APC governors while forming a rainbow coalition in Rivers. Wike is the problem here. He is literally fighting everyone. Everywhere he goes, there is chaos. I know this fight will not end here.

APC should enjoy the monster it helped to manufacture. The same Wike who helped destabilize PDP is now openly unsettling APC governors. Wike has started doing to APC what he perfected inside the PDP. The same politics of attack, intimidation, public blackmail, internal sabotage and endless quarrel that weakened the PDP is now knocking on APC’s door. Today, he is reportedly running a campaign of calumny against APC governors in Kwara, Plateau, Ebonyi, Cross River and other states. This is the same route he followed before: first, he presents himself as indispensable. Then he starts fighting party leaders. Then he creates factions. Then he turns every disagreement into war. By the time people understand the pattern, the house is already on fire. APC thought Wike was a weapon against the opposition. Now the weapon is turning around inside their own camp. This is the danger of empowering a politician who survives on crisis. Wike does not just join a political house. He enters with a hammer, a megaphone and a list of enemies. He cannot function where there is peace because his relevance grows from tension, fear and division. PDP tasted it. APC is tasting it now. The governors he is attacking today are not opposition figures. They are members of the same political family that gave him shelter, power and protection. Yet, as usual, Wike has found new enemies. Kwara. Plateau. Ebonyi. Cross River. One by one, the same fire that burnt PDP is spreading toward APC structures. This is why no one should pity APC. They saw the pattern. They celebrated it when it was hurting PDP. They defended it when it served their interest. They gave it oxygen when it helped them politically. Now that the same method is being used against their own governors, they should not complain. A monster does not become harmless because it has changed address. Wike’s politics has always been about domination, not partnership. He does not build consensus; he forces submission. He does not tolerate disagreement; he declares war. He does not strengthen parties; he bends them until they crack. APC is learning late. The real message for Nigerians is clear: any political system built on thuggery, blackmail and internal destruction will eventually consume itself.
