The Yankees went to Best Buy for John Sterling’s retirement gift and their fans really think they are keeping Juan Soto?

@Ben_Yoel Wow big spenders. How much was it 800 bucks?
@BigOliveri @Ben_Yoel That runs about $8 grand to be honest.
@BigOliveri @Ben_Yoel LG is a cheap brand. They should have given him better glasses. Mets gave Murphy a car when he retired!
@BigOliveri @Ben_Yoel It was free, LG is an official sponsor of the Yankees
@BigOliveri @Ben_Yoel It's the $7500 model, but why does everyone forget that LG is a corporate advertiser with the Yankees? So they actually spent close to zero in it.
@BigOliveri @Ben_Yoel Slap a Best Buy sticker on the box and the store probably ended up donating the TV AND paid for advertising.
@BigOliveri @Ben_Yoel They probably didn't even buy it. They just called LG and asked for one. We'll make sure to keep announcing that it's an LG TV with a big logo on the box and it's like a free commercial.
@BigOliveri @Ben_Yoel What are the odds they didn't even buy it? Like, maybe they just had a couple of extra tvs in Yankee Stadium... like, in case one goes out somewhere in the stadium and they just gave him one of those. They coulda spent $100 on a sculpture that probably woulda meant more to him.
