This is: 1. Bad 2. Exactly what happens when there *is* no good answer to a question. They completely brought this on themselves by bringing the 9/11 families into this a year ago. Still stunning to see Jay this unprepared to answer a question he had to know was coming.

@NoLayingUp Which indicates to me this proposed agreement is not borne of opportunity so much as absolute necessity. The craven shittiness of these actions could only come from a “we do this, or else..” scenario. Unless they’re all sociopaths (which we can’t rule out).
@BigRandyNLU For sure. A massive, massive amount of shit to eat in both the short and long term.
@NoLayingUp And one more thing. He never says the word, “sorry.” Never says, “I should not have done that.” Regrets not communicating with them about taking Saudi money (because what’s he going to say lol). Absolutely pitiful answer, completely debases himself. And that’s Rory’s guy?! 😂
@BigRandyNLU @NoLayingUp Honest question, what do you think he should have said if this truly was a “we do this, or else…” situation? This is obviously very bad but I just can’t think of a “decent” response
@BigRandyNLU @NoLayingUp He is/was always a corporate stooge that failed up. I understand you both were in the opposite side w LIV, but gracious, you worked for Big 4 accounting firms! JM oozes, "Stupid, yet criminally ambitious partner?" "Revenue ain't gonna recognize itself, young senior! Sign off!"
@BigRandyNLU @NoLayingUp He apologized for not telling them first...because that was their issue?
@BigRandyNLU @NoLayingUp Sounds a lot like a @TronCarterNLU apology 😂
@BigRandyNLU @NoLayingUp All the money spent on lawyers. No money spent on PR / Comms people. They need a Karolina at The Global Home
