Here’s a social experiment that proves hype is an integral character for success in sports, in this case the NFL Draft which I thought was underwhelming the City of Detroit saved it. If Justin Fields was in this draft he would have gone no lower than the 7th pick & maybe sooner.

Despite the fact the Denver Broncos needed a less expensive QB with potential, I believe Sean Peyton drafted Bo Nix because he has a similar passing motion to Drew Brees which is over head with a high trajectory, allowing the QB to take advantage of deep down field opportunities.

I understand Darvin Ham has a primary defense, in his case Man to Man, but in this era of basketball you have to play some zone to change things up. Saying that, the Lakers don’t have any defense that they play well, and Denver runs excellent half court sets. It’s hard to watch.

I’m happy my suggestion resonates with some people, as Sue Bird has become a minority owner of the Seattle Storm. With the rapid growth of the WNBA, I would love to see more former players become owners. For EX Katie Smith, Mya Moore, Lisa Leslie & Val Whiting to name a few.

For people who know basketball, they’ll tell you the narrative that the Denver Nuggets are profoundly better than the LA Lakers is like saying Hawaii’s beaches are better than the Dominican Republics’. These 2 teams are comparable except for half court execution & Basketball IQ.

The PHX Suns’ roster construction is awful. They don’t have 1 defender among their top 5 players. Kevin Durant played his best defense as a GS Warrior but his defense has regressed and he gets fatigued on offense. This same team would struggle to make the play In next year.

I read Colin Cowherd’s comments about Kevin Durant,lo him irrelevant, I couldn’t totally dismiss the it. I don’t like to see future HOFers being undressed on the court like Ant Man was doing to KD, but he backed it up. KD is still a high player but in the 4th period he’s gassed.

Watching the Sac Kings play against the NO PELICANS, builds the case for keeping the GS Warriors core in tack and simply tinkering around the edges. The Warriors have been the model of consistency and as you can it’s hard for other teams to duplicate.

Although, there are some rare exceptions in women’s college basketball where talented young players could play at the WNBA level after 1 yr overall I think it’s best right now for players to stay 4 yrs in college or be a draftable age. Besides, not enough jobs exist in the WNBA.
