Pro tip: don’t install or use a garbage disposal connected to a #septic system. Food waste is very difficult for residential septic systems to treat efficiently & results is accelerated solids accumulations in tanks and pipes = more pump outs & repairs
System was pumped in December because of slow draining fixtures, but the effluent filter wasn’t cleaned and this new home owner didn’t know she had an effluent filter to be cleaned. #septicsnafu

Curious about #septic system “failure”? When the soil is unable to accept & adequately treat then disperse the effluent safely into the environment. Remember the soil is where the disinfection occurs so it must be unsaturated & drain freely. This is a catastrophic fail!
This is rapid #septic tank concrete corrosion, shield baffle has fallen off, caused by unvented H2S gas above the liquid level on the discharge end of the 10 year old tank. The unvented pump chamber traps the H2S. Biologic SR2 can help
