Entertainment is escapism. It is a respite for many from the unpleasant realities of their daily existence. Major league sports should take note. World of Warcraft is replacing you on that 70 inch in the living room!!

When the elephants fight, the grass suffers. Way to go advocates!! The MLB move will impact workers from Metro Atlanta more than the residents of outlying areas. While some are getting the headlines, others are getting the shaft. #When the elephants fight!

Is there a target on the backs of small businesses? They are the bedrock of our economy. To those who want to give the looters a pass - It may be “just stuff” for the major corporations, but for the small business owners it’s their “blood, sweat, and tears.” It is their LIFE!

Through this, weaknesses will be exposed, and strengths revealed. Heroes will arise and leaders will emerge. Changes will occur and new opportunities will abound. I believe we will be better after this. I truly believe we will be better after this!

Throughout human history, situations arise that test our “metal.” We may call them “unprecedented” times, but they are only “unprecedented” to current generations. “These are the times that try men’s souls.” Wheat has to be crushed and winnowed, then it is used.
