I can't stand a man who's tit for tat. If your role is to lead and think logically, why are you copying my emotional reactions?

My friend babysits for a couple who have a very strict "no screens" rule for their 6-year-old, Oliver. On her first night, the parents left a laminated list on the fridge. Rule 4 said: "Oliver is not allowed any screen time. He will try to negotiate." At 7 pm Oliver sat down at the kitchen table and said very calmly, "Can I make you an offer?" She said, "No." He said, "You haven't heard it yet." She said, "The list says you'll try to negotiate." He looked at the fridge, then back at her, and said, "Who wrote that? It's a lie." He spent the next hour trying anyway...

I think my short fuse and intolerance for disrespect stems from the fact that I just do not disrespect ppl, so I am absolutely floored when ppl try me. My immediate reaction is that you must hate my guts or be evil

Please carry your struggles with a touch of dignity. Venting doesn't always help. People treat you differently when they know too much information about you.

You gotta maintain a lightness to your heart because turning into a bitter loser obsessed with how people have done you wrong is the most off-putting and unrewarding way a person can choose to be

Lmao one time my Dad came home drunk & he wouldn't stop yapping and I was so tired because his nip was about half finished. He went to the toilet to go pee and I hid it behind the sofa. 💀 Guys, he sat back, wondered for about a min, sniffed and literally went to take it sjsjsjdj

My senior is on leave, and he misspelled my email address on his out of office email. I really do serve a living God.

Is it just me or anyone else noticed social and spatial awareness completely vanishing? People freezing in doorways, hogging the entire sidewalk, planted in front of exits, blocking whole aisles, stopping at the top of escalators… Get out of the way. Other people exist here too.

The one thing I’ve learned the hard way: if they openly show you they don’t choose you, no matter how hurt you feel, let them walk away. The right people will continue to choose you, especially when things get tough.
