In 1979, Richard Simpson Bolt, Jr. was mortally burned while fighting the Pocket Fire on Okefenokee NWR. With 70% of his body was burned, he survived for 13 days before succumbing to his injuries. We will never forget his sacrifice. #neverforgotten
