So very very sorry to hear of the passing of a hockey broadcasting icon, Bob Cole. We all grew up to the wonderful accounts and descriptions of hockey coast to coast. The pride of Newfoundland. Rest easy my friend
@Bonsie1951 RIP legend. Bob was hockey broadcast royalty. You’re in that company too, Joe!
@Bonsie1951 Miss Cole and Neal on Saturday which followed Bowen and Neal during weekday games. Good times.
@Bonsie1951 Sad day Bonsie, both you & Bob will always be my benchmarks for play-by-play guys.
@Bonsie1951 Bob Cole was Joe Bowen before Joe Bowen. A true voice of the Leafs.
@Bonsie1951 Joe. You, Bob, and Harry were the voice of hockey for a young immigrant like myself in the early 90s. You all are legends that truly define the voice of hockey for me (especially a kid that loves to listen on the radio while in bed). RIP Bob 🌹
@Bonsie1951 such a sad day. rest in peace Bob! “Oh Baby!” ❤️
@Bonsie1951 Came to Canada in 1997, fell in love with hockey. Got a job a a gas bar, and always listened to leaf games. Bob Cole kept me company many nights.
