@DaysUnited It doesn’t look that way to me at all. Having been a victim of DV, I know all too well that any blood from your lip runs like a waterfall. And if he’d hit/continued to abuse her afterwards, of course it would spread further.

Group therapy was a huge fear of mine until I actually went. The only issue I ran into is that another member of the group got infatuated with me and repeatedly ignored my rejections and boundaries. It would’ve been easier and felt safer to stick to one-to-one therapy.
