Pressures inside the hoof vary depending on surface cow is walking on… more pressure points on concrete & more even distribution on pasture. Rubber matting reduces but doesn’t eliminate pressure points. These are from untrimmed feet… how does trimming influence this?
This is really interesting- effect of model size & toe angle on pressure distribution. This is the focus of my @AHDB_Dairy #PhD & hoping to show what impact this has in the field. Does size matter? Is bigger better when it comes to modelling?

Well this is an interesting email from @SRUCVets - based on 70 abortion submissions to Dumfries this year - notice Toxo higher than EAE & Listeria higher than Campylobacter - both unusual findings. Also note significant Border/BVD numbers. Always worth getting a diagnosis!
