New Lentil variety for 2026 “ALB Dane” (ALB2321) at the BCG Main Field Day yesterday. The recent AgVic releases have had a 🐕 naming theme, Kelpie & Terrier, with no real correlation, but not this time, “Great Dane”, big dog & big Lentil.

Busy day for the @AGF_Seeds R&D trials crew yesterday with sowing our largest main season wheat trial we have ever completed and harvesting a summer production of a new exciting barley line. Like everyone, could just use some more help from the sky.
