When Evergreen melted down I was quite aware of @jordanbpeterson. I admired him, and as it turned out, I had already learned a lesson from him that would change my life (and alter history). Watching video of Jordan facing down a mob I realized: the room is not the room.

@BretWeinstein @jordanbpeterson The THX bumper: "The audience is listening." Still remember from early on -- forget the venue -- the YT video when you related the moment you realized "there were no adults in the room."
@BretWeinstein @jordanbpeterson Also -- **point of order** -- when I read @HeatherEHeying 's story in @countyhwy , I could hear "because of course you are" in your voice.
@BretWeinstein @jordanbpeterson Your most recent conversation was incredibly profound Please have more of these It has sparked some many constructive conversations with people that I generally struggle to find common ground on Thank you both!
@BretWeinstein @jordanbpeterson his (and then your) courage was inspiring and was more than a bit contagious. 👍👍
@BretWeinstein @jordanbpeterson Very happy to be part of the larger room. DarkHorse is one of those podcasts that I listen to first. I’m pretty sure that you will eventually be vindicated in all of your opinions. Whether anyone will give you credit is another matter.
@BretWeinstein @DrJBhattacharya @jordanbpeterson I was watching Peterson's YT videos about existentialism in 2016, followed by your Evergreen experiences in 2017 - I can't believe that was 7 years ago now!
@BretWeinstein @jordanbpeterson That’s interesting and enlightening to learn you knew of him and had learned something so significant from watching video of how he handled his situation, previous to your own. Would you say he inspired extra courage in you to speak up for what you believe is right?
@BretWeinstein @jordanbpeterson Shit I knew who he was in 2017
It was around 2016/2017 and I had been searching around youtube after finishing up with some science lectures and I was looking for something different and came across Jordan Peterson's lectures. At first I was drawn to them because he broke down several philosophers very poignantly, all while maintaining a strong sense of conviction, being honest with one's self. Shortly after that I began to learn about how professors were being censured and eventually fired at universities in the guise of Crt and free speech would soon be at risk. As well he was defending the right to not be subject to pronoun culture which would also lead to loss of free speech. I've learned a lot from his lectures, but I think I've learned more from his examples of debating others and how he lives his life to what he determines to be to the best of his abilities. It's okay to have faults. You can't learn if you don't fall down and get back up, always speak your truths, keep your teeth sharp, and your house clean.
