It's holiday time here at Brigade - I'm off to explore part of Turkey, climbing over Greek and Roman ruins as research for our Small Scale Scenery range. Or perhaps I'll just spend the week on a sunlounger sampling the complimentary cocktails... Back again on the 30th.

With no SELWG this year why not come along to Re-Play at the Royal Engineers Museum in Gillingham on the 19th October, this will be our last show of this year. A smaller show than SELWG but the museum is well worth a visit, with traders and display games.

On Battle of Britain day, here's a Spitfire flying low over Brigade HQ. We're not far from Headcorn airfield in Kent, so the distinctive drone of Merlin engines is a common sound during the summer months.
