The new writers can bring Chance back from the dead. It’s Not unusual for his undercover assignments to want him to appear deceased . #YR

* * This would be a great time to bring back a strong, determined Phillip Chancellor, III. An image of his father, Phillip Chancellor, II. Someone strong enough to do ruthless battle. The story would've been better with Chance except poor vision writers killed him off. #YR

Katherine’s legacy was ruined by not using Jill to “keep her alive”, and killing off Chance Chancellor. #YR

Over dramatic opinion, but I think this Chancellor storyline is ruining Catherine’s legacy, and makes Billy impossible to root for. #yr

Billy has to share Jabot with too many Abbotts, and Jack is the main guy there. Lily is the only one to represent Neil’s legacy at Winters. #YR

This! I hate how people keep saying Lily has Winters so should let go of Chancellor because Billy has Jabot. Lily doesn’t own Winters either she just runs it. Chancellor is100% hers #YR

If Lily should just be happy with Winters, Billy can go work for Jabot and be happy with that. Or he can work for Spectra Charles. He has plenty of options. #YR

@soapcentral I’m tired of Adam & Victor always trying to destroy Billy. So I guess I’m on Billy’s side even though he’s being a jerk right now.

@soapcentral Too many retcons with this company. #YR should go back to what Bill Bell originally wrote. Phillip Chancellor founded Chancellor Industries, so bring back Chance and cast Phillip III.

@shaynes222 Bring back Chance! For Chancellor Industries to have meaningful interesting stories, #YR really needs to incorporate real Chancellors. Many of us grew up with the long story.

I guess so. I suppose he could be Phillip Chancellor III. The new Tucker was cast a few years younger so they could do the same with Phillip. #YR should have a Chancellor in GC.

Wow, that would be a quite the twist. The actor has Phillip's coloring more than Cane's so maybe ??? If Phillip Chancellor the 3rd returned to #YR I'd start watching again. I love when soaps go back into their classic history & characters for story.

Wild fan theory alert! Everyone thinks Dumas is Cane, but what if it's really Phillip Chancellor III playing us all? #YR #TheYoungandtheRestless #YoungandtheRestless #YoungandRestless soapoperamagazine.com/the-young-and-…

@MusingsbyEliza @paramountplus I can’t even watch #YR any more. Who writes a story about Chancellor Industries and doesn’t include any Chancellors? The idiots in charge just don’t know the soap’s history.

@Amandafaye27 I know but Jill used to care about Chance’s legacy as much as Billy’s. I don’t get it. #YR

I do agree that Catherine probably wouldn’t have wanted Billy running Chancellor. When Chance is right there. #YR

@StephonJS87 Only because Chance is written as a “talk to”. #YR doesn’t write him into any story in any meaningful way.

@MaryECovey Who would’ve thought the writers wouldn’t write for Phillip Chancellor the IVth? The creators had story revolve around those Chancellor heirs forever. Chance is so cute too🥰 #YR

??? Chance is Phillip Chancellor the IVth a major legacy character & Jill's grandson. It doesn't hurt that the actor who plays him is the hottest young guy on canvas either. More Chance! #YR
