@WesSteinberg As an Eagles fan, I completely agree with this. Someone needs to be held accountable and there needs to be action taken.

@TechwithPeter The research workflow makes sense. The jump to $10K assumes 12 books each sell four copies every day. That’s 1,440 monthly sales. Do you have results showing how readers found the books and what remained after costs? That’s the part I’d love to see tested.

Building FlipFeed at C5 Studios for sports card and memorabilia collectors. Looking to connect with someone at eBay working on developer partnerships or collectibles data—specifically approved access to historical sold-price data. Anyone know the right person or team?

@leo_mercerr I’ve spent months building a SaaS—front end, back end, security, now marketing and outreach. Still no idea if anyone will pay. I’m building something I’d pay for and hoping others see the value. You’re learning and putting something real out there. Plenty to be excited about!

@bruceradley The benchmark has an interesting detail: agents couldn’t run shell commands, so this measures what they write before debugging. Curious whether the savings hold through the full build/test/fix loop. Has anyone replicated this on an existing production repo?

What we learned this week at C5: Old approach: plan in chat, copy/paste code, repeat. Now: adding Codex inside VS Code so more of the building happens where the code lives. Still learning. Still building. Fewer handoffs is the goal. #BuildInPublic

New C5 Studios side quest: testing the insane AI claims everyone posts online. Apparently spiders are trading crypto now, Claude builds companies in one prompt, and YouTube monetization takes 90 days. Fine. We’ll see.

Random hobby question — if you’re mailing out a card, helmet, jersey, whatever for a signing… what makes you actually trust the company with it?

@CardPurchaser I’d be more willing to authenticate a 1/1. Grading doesn’t hurt it because it’s a 1/1 but I have OCD so if it wasn’t a 10 I’d be miserable 😂

Collectibles are weird because sometimes the value isn’t even the money, it’s the story. What makes you actually trust someone enough to hand them an item you’d be sick over losing? Reputation? Updates? Photos? Knowing exactly where it is? Curious what matters most to people.

@DevilsJointX @CardPurchaser @eBay I had a card I pulled authenticated as “fake” and then they “shipped it back” but I never received the card in the mail. So… yeah.

Autograph collectors — do you use signing houses/private signings? If so, who do you use and what frustrates you most? Shipping? Updates? Signing instructions? Authentication? Getting your item back? @cardcollector2 & @CardPurchaser I feel like you’ve both seen it all 😂

Stopped by the Philly card show this weekend with my daughter. I went to observe the market. She went straight for Pokémon and Disney. What stood out wasn’t the deals or prices. It was how welcoming the hobby was to the next generation. Markets are built on participation.

The most dangerous word in collectibles pricing is: “Comp.” One sale can anchor an entire market narrative. But narratives aren’t liquidity.

@Berrybombs69 @CardPurchaser Grading cost doesn’t create value. Scarcity and demand do. If pop climbs faster than demand, the floor eventually adjusts. Curious what the pop looks like 12 months from now.
