How much Celtic have missed Forrest is quickly becoming a media myth. It’s lazy analysis. Make no mistake about it; if Forrest had been fit all season, Celtic would still be a distant second.

Simpson has started well. The big lad is showing real composure.

Defining game for Jack Simpson IMO. A solid game & he’ll be bang in the plans for next season. Ticks a lot of boxes. A shakey game and it’ll take a lot to change the fans’ first real impression of him.

Doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out who was behind the #EuropeanSuperLeague.

Is there a possibility the #ESL is played in front of half empty stadiums with a disinterested global audience? No fan connection. No fresh teams. No sporting integrity. No history or prestige. Forget the morality for a second - could the project fail in terms of interest?

I can’t shake the feeling that the interest won’t be there for the #ESL, certainly not long term. An invite-only competition with the prestige of a pre-season tournament. The best teams (Bayern & PSG) aren’t involved. Others (Arsenal, Spurs, Milan) are a laughable inclusion.

Does Scott Brown even start for Aberdeen next season? Guy’s finished.

How big can Open Goal get? Has it peaked? Or could the weekly shows become something bigger?

Yeah. Strange decision. Especially after taking so long to decide on it aswell. One of those decisions where you could forgive a referee getting it wrong in normal time, but VAR?

Big goal for Man City. Dortmund were sitting in for a long time. It could be tough to change the momentum and get back on the front foot. #UCL

That’s a second dive. Edouard should be off.

@Taitinho1 A few probably looking at it as a chance to get in the shop window. Edouard is the first one that springs to mind there.

This is the best I’ve seen Elyounoussi play. Gets a lot of criticism, but has been Celtic’s most dangerous player today IMO.

An Old Firm game in an empty stadium with no stakes was always going to be flat.

I think we get much more from Aribo coming in from the right, so happy with that change. Not the biggest fan of him being in a midfield trio. Arfield should give Rangers that penetration from the centre that I think we’ve lacked today. Need someone higher & playing off Morelos.

Gerrard waiting for the 55th minute to make this change. Late, but staunch. Happy with that.

I hope we change Balogun for Patterson at half time. Patterson is a much better fit at right back for the way we play. Balogun doesn’t have the attributes to replicate what Tavernier doesn’t, whereas Patterson does, admittedly at a lower level.
