Family reunification is what we always aim for here at CASA. Children do better in life when they are connected with their biological parents, if possible.
The foster care world intersects with various aspects of social justice, equality, and the rights of children and families. That's why we focus on educating our volunteers and local community about how foster care impacts many other avenues of daily life for children.
Giving back as a CASA volunteer allows folks in our community to contribute in a tangible way to the well-being of abused and neglected children, while also strengthening the bonds between community members and securing a brighter future for our youth.
