@kittythefool Lightfoot is a high watermark for being a Canadian. Iconic songwriter, absolutely, but he had an unwavering love and pride for our country. ❤️

@rockonteurs Ok so I checked. Again. And yes he’s still alive, so please… consider interviewing record producer MIKE VERNON! Love your show! Too many faves to pick. Ok, shel Talmy…Colin blundstone…John Illsley…

@Brennan_Bass @JasonIsbell I was a recording engineer when this was all the rage. I hated it. We rented THE verb that created it: AMS. I said the “sound” wouldn’t last a year. I was wrong.

@JacksonBrowne @JamesTaylor_com I was re-watching the jaw-droppingly tight and slinky live (Kimmel?) performance of “Cleveland Heart” lamenting I didn’t see this marauding outfit live…then this! Hallelujah!

The alberta government has basically just told us- “IT’S EVERY MAN, WOMAN AND CHILD FOR THEMSELVES” 18 months of diligence to get ahead of this thing— and they’re throwing it all away so Jason can improve his popularity.
