Last museum of the trip was Wings Over the Rockies in Denver. They have a nice collection especially the two in the last photo.
Breakfast at KAPA this morning came with a side order of PC24s.
Navy T6 at KBJC today. First time I’ve seen one in this scheme.
Driving south from Ellsworth saw an advert for helicopter rides so had to take one. Minutes later we were up in N440DR headed towards a mountain with faces on it. They told us it was the Beatles but I’m not convinced.
The pigeons at Ellsworth seem to like the F111 the best. Good choice 👍
If it’s Sunday we must be in South Dakota. A quick run around the Ellsworth museum was this morning’s entertainment.
They have a small but very interesting museum at Greybull too.
Spent a great afternoon at Greybull WY wandering around the ghosts and wrecks of previous generations of aerial firefighters. I would love to have seen some of these in action
