I have been 33 years old for 8 months today 😁

So as I purge my way to my fullest expression of minimalism, I donated some things and repainted my apartment yesterday 😊

Only keep things that add value to your life.

The problem with writing only when inspired is that it often is not as consistent as I would like it to be.😊

Do you know the way? Mininalism is the way.

Success is measured by happiness and health and this cannot be purchased. This has to be achieved through a reconfiguration of our values/priorities, rooted in a divorce from materialism/capitalism and mainstream American gluttony.

America's perversion of success will only lead to the catastrophic demise of its people. One by one, each of us can be meticulously picked apart inside and out, by subscribing to this destructive American view of success.

We all know money and possessions doesn't bring us happiness. In fact we are reminded of this by the recent deaths/suicides of monetarily endowed people many of us know.

Being a successful human being is being a physically and emotionally sound and healthy person, who experiences happiness despite circumstance and possessions.

I'm inspired to write by recent conversations I've had with valuable people in my life. :-) The definition of success cannot be enumerated/cannot be counted be number of dollars in the bank. A successful human being is all around healthy human being. Right.

It's so awesome to experience true freedom in my life at 33. I am grateful to God for that. Oh and yes twitter is my personal journal :-)

It's amazing how even when you have so little, you can still eliminate what does not bring value to your life. I can't wait to continue.

So I've manged to eliminate a bookcase full of books I've had for years, and a trunk of miscellaneous items. I am glad about that.

In 2018, in Chicago, Spring came on April 30th.

@SteffiAyG @TheMinimalists Yes! It's so liberating!

My heart goes out in support for all my ppl that are standing up and shouting to the top of their lungs, that oppression in the form of violence, murder, and racism must be met with protest and any means available in a civilized society.

Even though minimalism is very important and I think the best lifestyle for everyone. I cannot ignore the suffering, humiliation, and oppression my ppl are being forced to fight against all across America.

I didn't think minimalism would be so much fun for me, I just love getting rid of things. It's like I'm building momentum after each item I dispose. But I really think it's the deliverance/massive relief and riddance of burden that minimalism brings to your life, inside and out.

So with that inspiration I am redesigning my apartment including the furniture items, books and color scheme, wall decor, and hidden storage areas. My goal is to have nothing inside of the hidden storage areas, and only keep those pieces that have multiple uses.

So on my minimalist journey, which I am so excited about, I love the clean and basic color scheme and simplistic design of a minimalist apartment. I am a huge fan of the pictures and images that The Minimalists use in alot of their press.
