The pain is most real for...the silos. Everything is gone and only the forgotten silos remain. #lonelysilos

Night two of cleaning out the old car garage. I have been to more flea markets, garage sales, and farm auctions than any guy my age has a right to. But never seen a set of these before.

@TimFredrickson That is also apt.

@TimFredrickson Knew an old-timer who always said, “If the farm had a Harvestore Silo, they had to be doing ok. If they had two Harvestore Silos, they were dang well off. If they had three Harvestore Silos, they were broke.”

@TimFredrickson Like most things I start on Twitter, I lose interest. Like #lonelysilos, for example. That was a good one, though, wasn’t it?

@GirlGopher @wx_dave If we try it, you can bet your bottom dollar that those will be the words.

@wx_dave This farm was wired in 1945 by my great uncle, Walter. Wally came home from The War with an Oak Leaf Cluster and the shrapnel in his arm to go with it. Huge respect. But...do I dare test the now 75 year old Knob and Tube wiring?

@bbroxey Pretty sure this is my all-time favorite. I have one more I’ll run by you soon. But put this one on the list. I mean, look at that can. Red Bull may give you wings, but this thing actually turns you into a full-blown Thunder Bird by the night’s third can.

@RandBallsStu @bbroxey Thank you, Stu. That is my high water mark. I was focused on commercial grade cheladas.

@rjbielat Ha. It was until about two years ago. My dad had a scrapper out to get rid of some stuff.

Bought the family farm in 2016. Since then, been using the old car garage for storage. Tired of scraping windshields every morning all winter. Decided time to clean it out. The first gem: Metal fish net. Not sure on the vintage. But also have replacement nets for it.

@bbroxey With you on Modelo over two of the Buds (Bud Chelada, BL Chelada). The best in the Bud Family is Bud Picante. So it and Modelo are close. Fuego is the newborn in the family and is the spiciest. Skip the Bud Mango and Bud Extra Lime. The family is happy they can’t visit this year.
