It has been an honor and a gift to work with Sir Fazle through the Hilton Humanitarian Prize Jury. Beyond all of his massive accomplishments, he was always good to the core. Kind, thoughtful, humble....and brilliant. Keeping his family and colleagues in my thoughts.
It is with the heaviest of hearts that we have to inform you of the passing of BRAC’s founder, Sir Fazle Hasan Abed. No words of consolation can take away the pain of losing him. We will honour his legacy with the same resilience, dignity and humility that he has instilled in us.
