One of the coolest things about the card collecting community is how many people still remember the excitement of opening packs as kids. Now we're helping a whole new generation experience that same feeling.
The hobby talks a lot about rookie cards, parallels and value. Kids have a much simpler system: “That’s my favorite player.” Sometimes I think they understand collecting better than the rest of us.
A donated box on my floor gets sorted, packed, and shipped to a classroom hundreds of miles away. Donated cards, never sold, helping military kids. Have cards to give? Message me.
I still think about the one card I owned as a kid that I’d never trade away. What’s yours? Reply with the card’s story and a photo: I’d love to see it!
After you rip a box, those base cards aren't worthless. They just haven't met the right kid yet. I sort them into classroom rewards for military kids. $3/month on Patreon helps me ship cards nationwide.
A pretty big step for Cards for Military Kids!
We are officially registered with the State of North Carolina as a nonprofit organization. We're still waiting on the IRS for our 501(c)(3) determination, so we're not there quite yet, but we're getting closer.
We’ve officially reached the point where my garage is losing the battle.
Cards, boxes, packing supplies, outgoing shipments—it’s all starting to outgrow the space we have.
It’s a good problem to have, but Cards for Military Kids is going to need a home sooner than later.
Cards are coming in by the millions. The challenge is getting them back out the door.
Just $3 a month helps us ship donated cards to schools serving military kids across the country.

If you want to support the mission, consider becoming a subscriber on Patreon, that is the sole source of revenue we have to send cards out to classrooms.

We’ve got the donations. Now we need help getting them where they need to go.
This is just one week of cards, and shipping is quickly becoming the biggest challenge.

A card that’s been sitting forgotten in someone’s closet for years can end up being the reason a military-connected kid has a really good day at school.
Some of these cards have spent 20 years sitting in a box, and now they’re finally getting pulled out again by a kid who thinks they’re the coolest thing in the world.
