The heat wave we are experiencing has prompted the operator of the electric transmission system in our region to issue a maximum generation emergency event. Cooperative Light & Power is asking its members to conserve electricity. Please cut back energy use until 10 p.m. today.
CLP will be CLOSED this week due to employees with confirmed cases of Covid-19. We are closing to avoid spread of the virus. Linemen will be responding to outages. Thank you for your understanding as we take this step to protect our employees, their families, and our community.
