@thekgbjr @tcballard I switched to Omarchy over a year ago and localsend was why it stuck. I was using airdrop as part of my mac workflow and localsend replaced it just fine.

@draginol Omarchy came before the AI craze and added the AI later. Omarchy is about leaving MS/Apple and having a system that's usable without tons of tweaking since David already did it I would say stability is another reason for omarchy. Changes are vetted more so than other distros.

@dhh I lucked into a 2017 MB Air w/8gb ram and a charger for $20 on FB marketplace. Listing showed the blue folder with a ? so took a chance. The hd was fine installed omarchy and couldn't get wifi working. Took the cover off and the antenna were disconnected. Pefect now!
