In the tiny Central Georgia town of Milner (population under 1,000), the entire full-time police force just resigned. That includes the chief, the officers, and most of the reserves. Their last day is October 28. The city manager walked out too. What triggered it? Chief Lamar Bunn stood up at a city council meeting and accused Mayor Craig Timmons of secretly putting a GPS tracker on his personal truck. He said it was paid for with the mayor’s own money. No proper process. No heads-up. When people asked the mayor about it, he had no comment. The officers’ resignation letters talked about lost trust, questionable leadership, and a workplace where integrity and accountability no longer seemed to apply. Other gripes like overtime and side-job vehicle rules got mentioned, but the tracker was the flashpoint. So the same people who defend mass surveillance tools aimed at regular drivers decided one tracker on one of their own was a bridge too far. The Lamar County Sheriff’s Office is expected to cover the town now. Rules for thee, not for me. On full display in a place small enough that the whole police department can fit in a single group text.

Apparently in Harris County, driving drunk with a .14 BAC and a gun in your vehicle can get your charges dismissed by Monday, provided you’re well-connected enough to get the DA’s chief of staff @LaurenByrne03 involved on a Sunday night. 🙄 The diversion program reportedly has a .12 BAC limit, but apparently exceptions can be made. How convenient. As a crime victim advocate who has lost a loved one to a drunk driver, I find this especially disturbing. Drunk driving doesn’t suddenly become less dangerous because nobody was killed THIS time. I’m not against second chances. I’m against a justice system where the rules appear to depend on WHO you are rather than WHAT you did. So here’s my question: Would the average Harris County resident with a .14 BAC and a weapons charge get this same VIP treatment? Because the families burying loved ones killed by drunk drivers don’t get special exceptions or second chances. And @RafaelHCDAO , nobody asked whether your prosecutors work weekends. It was asked why the DA’s chief of staff was personally approving a well-connected defense attorney for a diversion program he reportedly didn’t even qualify for. Those are two VERY different questions.

🚨George Kent personally approved blocking a Senate witness, then emailed that the testimony was manufactured. That’s not diplomacy. That’s witness tampering with a State Department letterhead. In September 2020, Andrii Telizhenko was days from testifying to the Senate about Biden family corruption in Ukraine. His visa got pulled. Kent’s own email after the fact called Telizhenko’s account manufactured case information. In January 2019, the same department denied Viktor Shokin a visa so he could never appear before Congress. Shokin wasn’t some random exile. He was Ukraine’s Prosecutor General from 2015 to 2016, the man whose office had already raided Burisma and seized assets before Biden tied one billion dollars in loan guarantees to his firing. Kent then spent his impeachment deposition calling Shokin a fraud who never prosecuted anyone, making sure nobody would ever ask why the visa was denied. And in November 2016, Kent wrote a classified email to Ambassador Yovanovitch warning that Hunter Biden’s Burisma role undercut the entire anti-corruption message. He was told Biden didn’t have the bandwidth. Then he spent three years under oath saying Burisma never came up. Now he’s retired from the Foreign Service and running Ukraine advocacy full time with NAFO, raising money and delivering vehicles to frontline units. The man who suppressed the witnesses is now the face of the cause. If Kent could silence two witnesses whose testimony threatened the official story, what else did he decide we weren’t allowed to hear? In my foreword I wrote that Shokin’s book is a searing indictment of systemic corruption, a call to action, and a testament to the personal cost of standing up to the powerful. Shokin documents how Democratic operatives spun a web of corruption with the Biden family at its center, how USAID payouts stopped being tracked under Resolution 553, and how the Obama strategy of letting Crimea cool handed Putin the opening for war. If you were on the grand jury, would you have indicted? Columbus, GA traffic stop (Feb. 7, 2024): Officers clock a driver at ~96–100 mph in a construction zone on Manchester Expressway and stop him. As they approach, his BMW backfires while he reaches out with a blanket to wipe the window. Officers perceive the noise + sudden arm movement as gunfire and fire ~28 rounds into the car. Driver hit once in the finger. No officers injured. Grand jury indicts both officers (aggravated assault & battery) in 2025. Aug. 2026: Judge grants them immunity and drops the charges. Officers cleared. Car riddled with bullets, driver almost killed, over a backfire. ❓Does the fact that the officers were later granted immunity mean the system worked, or just that it protected them from accountability? ❓Should officers who fire nearly 30 rounds into a car over a backfire face any consequences, or is the immunity ruling the correct outcome?
