Scottie Scheffler at his most relatable just now in the interview room "It's weird, golf is a deeply unsatisfying career. Like, all I'm thinking about right now is getting home. I'm just trying to answer your questions. I'm not even thinking about the green jacket right now. I just want to go home."
@CPowers14 The guy is about to have his first kid any day...one of greatest joys of life. Can't blame him for just wanting to get back home. Kudos to him on his success and impressive ability to stay locked in laser focused.
He’s certainly a good golfer — the best in the world last week. As for having to answer all the inane journo questions, it’s a grotesque practice foisted on all high profile athletes it seems. I enjoy watching some sports. I’d like to hear how the top players prepare mentally & physically to compete. I guess the media garble is part of the entertainment circus.
@CPowers14 With his level of faith in Christ, golf IS an unsatisfying career. Pathetically unsatisfying. Which is what MADE the @PGATOUR so special...the charity aspect. Hopefully Scottie learns how to give back in ways that make him see that golf is a great career for a giver like himself
@CPowers14 You can’t blame the guy. He’s a very family oriented man and his wife is pregnant at home with their first child. This week must have been extremely stressful for him. This is obviously just my opinion lol
@CPowers14 We see it as a sport. He sees it as a job.
