Anybody know how much I'm looking at for a 40 yard skip as a one off to clear our warehouse of sofas, hard plastics, general household, laminate flooring, carpets, underlay. Recommendations appreciated aswell. For Widnes. Would need for Tuesday and collection later next week.

Can't believe how difficult it is to #recycle. We get large quantities of wood, plastic, and carpets/underlay on our house clearances, and the costs to dispose via skips is crippling us. Can anybody offer some help with regards to NOT sending this to landfill? Local companies?

Very busy day today, delivering furniture to @RiversideLCR Powerhouse building in Liverpool. Our small team of staff and volunteers are very proud to be supporting tenants with donations of household goods. Dont know how we did it but all this went into 2 vans!

Today we've been prepping 2 van loads of furniture and household goods, to donate to @RiversideLCR on Friday, for young people who are currently residing at Powerhouse homeless hostel in Liverpool. Hopefully make a difference as they soon gain the keys to their first property 💖

Not only do we support struggling families across the North West with free household goods, we also recycle around 90% of the unusable items that we get through our House Clearance service. We're always looking at ways of being even better.

Who knew it would be so difficult to recycle?!? Currently disposing of tonnes of Charity recyclable waste in a non-recyclable way because nobody wants to help us recycle? Contact dozens of companies but constantly fobbed off. @MerseysideRWA @HaltonBC @ViridorUK @VeoliaUK
