BREAKING: The CA Senate just passed #SB944 (@DrPanMD), 28-8, to recommit the $304 million in the #CABudget to reduce co-pays & eliminate deductibles in silver @CoveredCA plans. Without the bill, deductibles would go up $1K to $4750! The bill now goes to @CAGovernor @GavinNewsom!
The CA Assembly just passed #SB944 (@DrPanMD) to reaffirm that the $304 million in the #CABudget for @CoveredCA affordability assistance goes to reduce cost-sharing. Assembly Health chair @JimWoodAD2 highlighted how costs will go up without state action. Back to Senate. #CALeg

As if the feedwater pump failure that caused the unit one reactor to be shut for close to three days - leaving roughly a million Texas households without power until the reactor was brought back online was not particularly significant.
Kate didn't seem to be aware of the fact that feedwater pumps essential for preventing a nuclear meltdown at the South Texas Nuclear Station froze because they were not adequately winterized.
