Prof. Shamim met with UN Special Rapporteur on Trafficking in Persons Ms. Siobhan Mullally on 31 October 2022 and highlighted the Red Heart Campaign to Promote Child Rights which was appreciated. Ms. Mullally agreed that she would recommend on ways to keep children safe online.
Prof. Ishrat Shamim attended the Gender Equality and Social Inclusion (GESI) Toolkit Workshop which was held on 18 October 2022 at Dhaka. The objective of this workshop is to present the GESI Toolkit to participants from CSOs practitioners, and international NGOs.

Prof. Ishrat Shamim, President CWCS attended Launching ceremony of the First National Study on Trafficking in Persons in Bangladesh which was held on Sunday 2 0ctober 2022 from 11:00am to 2:00pm at the Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel, Dhaka to disseminate the findings of the report.
Prof. Shamim conducted ToT on Protection of Children Affected by Migration including Trafficking on 12-14 September 2022 being attended by 27 police officials. Police officials were informed about Red Heart Campaign to Promote Child Rights and invited to join the movement.
