Alexander Volkov really went straight to Dana White to ask for his title shot. 😭
At the UFC 333 press conference, Volkov grabbed the mic and asked Dana what he needs to do to finally get a shot at the heavyweight belt.
Dana started asking questions, and Volkanovski actually had to step in and explain who was talking. 😂
White made it clear he knew Volkov and was just playing along.
But when it came to an actual answer?
“Talk to Sean Shelby and Mick Maynard.”
Imagine being a top heavyweight contender and still having to chase down the matchmakers just to find out what’s next. 💀

Movsar Evloev just opened the door for Arman Tsarukyan at 145 lbs. 👀
During UFC 333 media day, Evloev made it clear he’s willing to fight Arman if he makes featherweight and the UFC books it.
Basically: “Come down to 145. This is my territory.”
But first, Movsar has business to handle.
Alexander Volkanovski — October 24.
Would you guys actually want to see Evloev vs. Tsarukyan at featherweight?

Michael “Venom” Page wants UFC fighters to stop complaining individually and start standing together. 👀
Speaking to BBC Sport, MVP called for fighters to form a union and push for better pay.
He says plenty of fighters are unhappy with their salaries, but are afraid to speak publicly because of the possible consequences.
And honestly, that raises a big question:
Everyone wants better pay. But how many fighters are actually willing to stand together and demand it?

Big Ank is an idiot. And so are the MMA journalists pushing this nonsense. 😭
Dricus literally said he wants to win back the belt in his own division FIRST — which, let’s be real, might take forever. Or never happen.
And THEN, MAYBE, he’ll move up.
But the media clowns already ran to social media screaming:
“BIG ANK’S NEXT OPPONENT!” 🤡
Do I even need to explain why Dricus obviously isn’t taking that fight right now?
What a completely pointless piece of news.

Charles Oliveira isn’t changing his game for the BMF belt. 🥊
Ahead of UFC 335 against Diego Lopes, Oliveira made it clear: he’s using his full MMA arsenal, including wrestling and grappling.
And after the criticism of his win over Holloway, his message is simple — winning matters more than entertaining the crowd.
But here’s the question:
Should a BMF champion be expected to stand and bang, or is winning smart just as badass?

UFC CANADA — QUICK MAIN CARD PICKS 🇨🇦🥊
🇨🇦 Mandel Nallo vs. Nate Landwehr 🇺🇸
Landwehr is literally just a brawler with nothing else to offer. Dude’s a straight-up bum.
Nallo is an old guy who made it to the UFC right before retirement. He lost his last fight to Jai Herbert, but was actually beating him up pretty badly before getting KO’d.
I’m picking Nallo.
🇺🇸 Kyle Daukaus vs. Marc-André Barriault 🇨🇦
After losing to Nickal, they quickly gave Daukaus a chill matchup against some bum he should be able to destroy however he wants.
Barriault is completely washed and keeps getting sent to the shadow realm with some nasty KOs.
Pick: Daukaus. But honestly, I’d rather just pick a KO in this fight.
🇨🇦 Kyle Nelson vs. Christian Perez 🇲🇽
Perez is gonna smoke this bum.
That’s it. 😭
🇺🇸 Erin Blanchfield vs. Jasmine Jasudavicius 🇨🇦
Erin is really good on the ground and physically strong as hell.
Jasmine is a solid, average fighter. Nothing more than that.
Erin wins this.
🇺🇸 Joaquin Buckley vs. Mike Malott 🇨🇦
Buckley has 25 whole minutes to knock out Canada’s 35-year-old prospect. 😭
Yeah, Usman and Brady outwrestled Buckley, but those are literally the best wrestlers in the division.
Malott is just a bum who padded his win streak against Burns, barely scraped past Holland, and beat a bunch of cans.
Buckley is absolutely fired up for this one.
I’m backing Buckley by KO.

Volkanovski and Makhachev are apparently planning a very different kind of rematch. 😂
Volk says he’s already talked to Islam about traveling to Dagestan together for an episode of Cooking With Volk.
The plan?
🐎 Hunting on horseback
🔥 Cooking what they catch over a fire
🏔️ Spending the night in the Dagestan mountains
No date yet, but according to Volk, they’ve already agreed on what the adventure should look like.
From fighting each other twice in the Octagon to camping together in Dagestan.
MMA friendships are something else. 😂

I don’t quite get the hate surrounding the Amosov vs. Morales fight. To me, it’s a really cool matchup between two welterweight contenders—and let’s not forget, welterweight is currently the best division in the UFC.
For Morales, this serves as an excellent "beta test" for a potential fight against Makhachev. Amosov possesses high-level grappling and, perhaps most importantly, significant size—which is crucial, given that I remain skeptical about the significance of his win over the "midget" Brady (who, by his own account, shouldn't have even been in the cage that night). If Amosov wins here, his next fight will 100% be against Makhachev. It would be a fascinating matchup; for the first time in a long while, Makhachev would be facing an opponent with a comparable wrestling base.
Besides, neither of these guys really has anyone else to fight right now. No one is going to wait around for Rakhmonov to patch up his knees, and Garry just fought—plus, I’m certain his next bout will be against the winner of the Brady vs. Bonfim fight. Some people suggest that one of them should fight Jack [Della Maddalena], but why? Either of these two would absolutely dismantle Jack—just in different ways. That’s why, in my opinion, a fight between Morales and Amosov makes perfect sense right now.

Let’s cover everything that happened overnight in a single post.
It’s official: the fight between Bo Nickal and Joe Pyfer has been moved to the Cleveland event. That means one less exciting fighter on the UFC 335 card, which is a real shame.
It seems the UFC is currently looking to spread out high-profile matchups over the course of a month—even for numbered events—meaning we can expect a maximum of only three bouts between ranked fighters per numbered card. In my opinion, that’s a bad move.
Michael Morales has confirmed that his fight against Shavkat Rakhmonov is off; instead, he’s signed a contract to face Yaroslav Amosov. I’m actually really happy about this—I’ve always wanted to see Amosov in action. For me, this is a 10/10 matchup.
Andre Yanis is no longer fighting Juan Diaz. It’s a pity—he could have been a fun fighter to watch, though UFC 334 is already packed with plenty of entertaining talent. #UFC
There’s some commotion surrounding the tournament in Saudi Arabia on December 5th—word is there’s a 90 percent chance it won’t go ahead.
Honestly, though, I have a feeling that everything will turn out fine in the end.

Colby Covington vs. Dustin Poirier is one of those dream fights we’ll probably never get.
It’s a shame Colby was so stubborn in his prime and never moved down to lightweight.
I genuinely think he would’ve been at least a top-3 fighter at 155.
And Poirier vs. Colby?
That’s a dream fight for me.
Stylistically, I’d have Colby winning 70/30.
His technique was never the cleanest, but the volume and pace would’ve eventually drained Dustin.
Obviously, this is completely subjective because we’ll probably never see the fight.
But if they announced it tomorrow?
I’m picking Colby.
#ufc#mma
Just look at the UFC light heavyweight division in 2016.
That was probably the strongest era the division has ever had.
Honestly, any top-5 light heavyweight from that time would run through today’s entire roster pretty easily.
The level was just different.

#UFC332 PREDICTIONS 👀
🇺🇸 Court McGee vs. Eric Nolan 🇺🇸
Eric has pretty decent striking and definitely has the skills to win. The big problem is his wrestling, and that’s where McGee can make this interesting.
But I really don’t like picking old guys going into their last fight. Those usually don’t end well.
Pick: Eric Nolan
🇮🇹 Marvin Vettori vs. Ismail Naurdiev 🇲🇦
Since this fight was announced, I honestly didn’t even think twice about it. I was sure Naurdiev would win.
But after thinking about it properly… I’m switching sides. 😭
I’m going with Vettori.
Hopefully he’s at least somewhat motivated, and then he can go back to his usual point-fighting. His cardio is better than Naurdiev’s.
Pick: Marvin Vettori
🇧🇷 RDA vs. Alexander Hernandez 🇺🇸
They’re giving 1.35 on Hernandez?
How?
This is such a mismatch I don’t even know what to say.
🇺🇸 Jacob Smith vs. Bruce Whitehead 🇺🇸
Mismatch.
Honestly, what is even the point of this fight?
🇧🇷 Johnny Walker vs. Mick Parkin 🏴
I really doubt Walker is going to knock Parkin out.
And I definitely don’t see the Brazilian working his way to a decision, especially against Mick.
The only thing bothering me here is Parkin’s long layoff.
Pick: Mick Parkin
🇺🇸 Anthony Wint vs. Lucas Armand 🇺🇸
I’m a little worried about Wint here.
Don’t bet him at 1.15.
I just have a feeling he could run into serious problems if this fight goes long, and Armand is absolutely capable of surviving Round 1.
Skill-wise, the gap is huge.
But again: 1.15 on Anthony is dangerous.
🇺🇸 Marcus McGhee vs. Anthony Romero 🇺🇸
Mismatch.
🇦🇼 Damian Pinas vs. Andrey Pulyaev 🇷🇺
Pinas has impressed me a lot.
At the very least, he’s no worse than Gautier — honestly, maybe even more interesting.
I think Pulyaev overperformed against Ateba, and I don’t really expect that again here.
Andrey is genuinely hard to knock out though, so this could easily go to a decision.
Still, I’m much more confident in Pinas here than I was in the Gautier fight.
🇲🇽 Imanol Rodriguez vs. Alden Coria 🇺🇸
Two prospects, but I rate Imanol higher.
Coria feels like one of those guys who can spend a long part of his career hanging around just outside the top.
Rodriguez?
I expect to see him in the rankings.
Pick: Imanol Rodriguez
🇨🇲 Ateba Gautier vs. Roman Kopylov 🇷🇺
I’m confident Gautier wins by decision.
Kopylov will probably spend a lot of the fight moving away and being very cautious around Ateba.
Gautier will land on him, but I don’t think he knocks Roman out.
Pick: Ateba Gautier by decision
🇭🇷 Roberto Soldić vs. Khaos Williams 🇺🇸
Really happy they finally signed Soldić. I’ve wanted this for a long time.
Williams is definitely tough as hell.
But Soldić is just on another level.
Pick: Roberto Soldić
🇺🇸 King Green vs. Esteban Ribovics 🇦🇷
Ribovics is going to put an end to Bobby’s luck.
Unfortunately. 😭
I think Esteban just overwhelms him and eventually knocks him out.
Pick: Esteban Ribovics by KO
🇧🇷 Deiveson Figueiredo vs. Payton Talbott 🇺🇸
Don’t bet Talbott at 1.10.
It’s not worth it.
That being said, Figgy just isn’t a top-15 level fighter anymore, while Payton looked so good in his last two fights that I honestly don’t know what weapons the Brazilian has for him.
Well… he should have some.
The question is whether he actually uses them.
Talbott really needs a finish here though. A boring 30–27 isn’t going to impress anyone — if anything, it does the opposite.
Pick: Payton Talbott
🇧🇷 Natalia Silva vs. Wang Cong 🇨🇳
I’m rooting for the Chinese fighter here, but then I started thinking…
Does Wang win if she fights on the back foot?
No.
Does she win if she takes the lead?
Also no.
To beat Natalia Silva, you need a really strong all-around MMA game — like Namajunas or… Shevchenko.
Joker just doesn’t have that kind of skill set.
But hey, one punch can always land.
And that would be very funny. 😭
Pick: Natalia Silva
