@LaureenNarro Minimum wage is not supposed to be a livable wage. Every time you raise the minimum wage, it lowers the buying power of everyone, devalues our currency, and raises the costs of beans and butter and everything else. I believe we should lower the minimum wage to $0.50/hr.
@KenJohnsonUSA @LaureenNarro Minimum wage is absolutely intended to be a living wage. That's why it was created so people could work and live without starving. It's in the country's best economic interest that the most people have at least some money to spend.
@CaliPersists @KenJohnsonUSA @LaureenNarro @KenJohnsonUSA why you quiet now?
@CaliPersists @KenJohnsonUSA @LaureenNarro I’m curious of who in this convoluted convo has actually lived on minimum wage… it’s easy to speculate from the comfort of your lazy boy in suburbia!
@CaliPersists @KenJohnsonUSA @LaureenNarro NGL don't feed the trolls is good advice because I'm not convinced 50 cents an hour could possibly be a real take. You make more than that being a professional beggar or a busker so at that point there's no reason to work anymore.
