@7Veritas4 @MarshaBlackburn Trying to understand the concern here. If you don't want to sideload, then don't sideload? But I own my phone and should be able to put whatever software I choose on my property - knowing and accepting the full risk involved. That does not impact you or your choices in any way.

This bill is a _huge_ step towards allowing sideloading on iOS, but I’m very concerned it doesn’t adequately protect consumers from the added risks Sideloaded apps aren’t reviewed by a real person, and thus should _not_ be treated the same as App Store apps

The passage of the Open App Markets Act out of the Senate Judiciary committee brings us one step closer to having this legislation signed into law. This bill will let people download apps directly from outside companies rather than being forced to go through official app stores.

@natinusala They left much to be desired, that’s for sure. It’s very grindy as well. I’ve strictly had to focus on battling/catching mechanics. In that sense, however, it’s a wonderful creation. They stepped it up but it could have been much more.

So I just started Pokémon Arceus, it seems refreshing at the moment. However can I ask a real question: what the fuck is Laventon wearing? Is this game the Dead by Daylight Clown tragic backstory reveal?

@natinusala I’m 60 hours in (got the leak) and I had the EXACT same thought. Every single time I see him I’m almost offended? Very poor choice of character design. At this point I just laugh. I’m glad I’m not the only one.

Since I posted it on the Swift forums I might as well post it there - a few months ago I made an attempt at making a Swift 5.4-something toolchain for Nintendo Switch homebrew (libnx).

@619555798Man @PassotVincent @Pwn20wnd Unfortunately no. But it will be. Fugu14 when released was “incomplete”. However it does install the unc0ver app which doesn’t revoke. We will have to make do until it is updated.

@OMTKJB @TweakHome All windows operating systems are the same. You are running Windows 10 or 11 right? Same as me. If you aren’t willing to try that is on you my friend. I was just trying to help but you don’t listen.

@OMTKJB @TweakHome You don’t have to turn it off. When the message pops up, click on it. Then click the “threat” AKA the Fugu14 exploit, and click allow. This will allow you to jailbreak and keep your protection.

@iDM_FROM_YT Personally I would love to switch to something better. I just felt a reason why would have prompted people to switch instead of igniting the hate.

@iDM_FROM_YT All I was stating was that from a technical perspective, being provided why the switch is a smart thing to do, is monumental. I by no means doubt what you are saying. But with how this community has always been set up, knocking Cydia was destined to drive people to talk crap.
