@californiabyu Nobody wins by taking the approach of an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth

@utahjazz Good to see they are focused on defense.

@utahjazz Talk the talk of defense. Hope they can walk the walk.

Jack Holman got tough in a crazy exchange in the Fargo finals and picked up a tech and a stop sign! 📺 #fargo | July 10-18 | LIVE on FloWrestling

@utahjazz Grey was the best player on the court tonight. Complete game.

@NBA @johntonje1 We’re rooting for you all the way in Utah!

@USGA Can someone tell me how you get information on how to be involved with this and would like to compete? It’s really difficult to get someone to respond when contacting people about it and if you finally do get a response they aren’t much help. @USGA

“Mormons turned a swamp into a metropolis. Then they turned a desert into an empire. It’s the most American story.” Their religious beliefs take them to Missouri. Neighbors learn they are anti-slavery and violently drive them out. They go to Illinois and turn a swamp into a city that rivals Chicago. Only to have violent mobs run them out. They walk toward Utah. Hoping to find a safe place to gather. Jim Bridger mocks them. He bets $1,000 they can’t grow crops in Utah. They continue anyway. The Utah soil is so hard it breaks their plows. So they engineer a way to water a desert. Their crops grow. Salt Lake City sprawls. They expand. Latter-day Saints settle 500 towns across the West. A network of farms, commerce, and faith. Their women become the first women to vote. They elect America’s first female state senator. Their women organize themselves. With very little training, they create a system that lowers infant mortality to among the lowest rates in the country. When the Depression hits, Latter-day Saints implement the most effective welfare program in the country. Decades later, Ronald Reagan studies it and calls it a model for the country. Its impact is seen today as Utah has the lowest usage of federal food assistance in the country. The pursuit of knowledge and science becomes a hallmark. They start universities. They send their smartest men and women back east to learn the latest ideas and bring them back. They are innovative. Technology that changes the world emerges from their culture. The television. The artificial heart. The weapons that won WWII. The beginnings of the internet. The work ethic and cooperation that propelled them to develop the American West continues today. Their outsized influence on the world is famous. They know religious persecution better than most. So they champion religious freedom for all, even those they disagree with. Sociologists are obsessed with their outcomes. A Princeton researcher studied teens in America. She concluded that “Mormon teens are faring best.” Harvard data recently found that kids who grow up in Latter-day Saint homes are the most likely to say they feel loved by both parents. Other national studies consistently find them to be the happiest people in the country. Gallup finds they are the most observant Christians in the country, a dedication to their faith that is unrivaled. Pew Research finds they know many Bible stories better than any other Christians. A swamp became a metropolis. A desert became an empire. A persecuted people became the happiest in America. That’s the most American story ever told.

@FloWrestling Dang. That was brutal. I'm pretty certain that was exactly what Ryan Lewis did to me in the State Finals. I didn't know what hit me.

@dustinharding @Jenny_541672913 This is awesome. And you need to change your plans. I can’t wait for the full film 😜

@wesleyabc4 @abc4utah Congratulations! It was always fun to cross paths when you covered the team. But it was even more enjoyable to run into you at Golf In the Round and talk there. Enjoy the next chapter!

@cougfanblue @drewjay Well the advantage is that it makes it much harder for Jane to pass her. It almost worked. I wonder what the person who finished 13th and missed out on qualifying when they know someone should have been DQ’d.

@cougfanblue @drewjay From inside lane to lane 3. She’s very fortunate she didn’t get hit and throw away her automatic bid. It wasn’t even kind of necessary since the top 12 get their ticket punched.

@XFreeze Is it a good option to build data centers underground?

@VicWembyThegoat @Wolvesmuse Tell me you don’t understand basketball without telling me. Why was he settling on and shooting so many 3’s in the first place? Gobert’s presence changes the entire way teams play.

@Utah_Football @utahathletics @UUtah Would not consider him random other than the fact he was the greatest we may ever see: Errol Tucker youtube.com/watch?v=ichlFy…

@the_churchnews So excited for my parents who just got called to serve a mission there. My dad served in Palmyra about 60 years ago!

@HoopzRumorz @utahjazz Hard to recognize some of them

@TheSteveNoize @MrPatMineo Can you give me your definition of a cult and how it applies to PSU and not other top programs?

@FloWrestling @AthletePS Sad when the cheaters get rewarded. It's tough as I suspect it would affect the decision of recruits if they knew rules were being broken but most of them don't even realize it. If you're at a program and you found out your coach cheats how does that affect you?
