@Concern70732755 Why is Mark Carney making sure that young People can’t find work all while lowering our wages! This is BS.

@RFJanse @TRobinsonNewEra What a failure of a country they are. And we have here Mark Carney getting cozy with the swing both ways Macron.

That line is raising alarms. After years of rapid population growth that strained housing, healthcare, schools, and wages Carney is already signalling the pause is temporary and that higher intake is the default direction again. Why people are nervous • Canada’s population growth under the previous government was far above historical norms (driven heavily by temporary residents). • Housing shortages, hospital wait times, and youth unemployment all got worse during the surge. • Many feel the “controlled increase” language is the same soft language used before the last surge got out of hand. • The next official Immigration Levels Plan is due soon (early November), so the timing of the comment is deliberate.

Mark Carney doesn’t care about ordinary Canadians. He’s out of touch and usually out of the country. He spends more time jetting around the world talking up Canada’s “diversified portfolio” while our elbows are up so high we’re punching ourselves in the face. He’s making a big show of changes that, at best, amount to less than 1% of our overall exports. Why pour so much energy and so many announcements into projects that add up to almost nothing? All of this while thousands of Canadians are losing their jobs — and Ontario is getting hit the hardest.

@CTVNews Deteriorating is an understatement. When our great economist Mark Carney decides we’ve lost enough jobs and his Polling looks good maybe he’ll strike a deal again. He couldn’t give two f—cks if people are struggling.
