The team was out-classed by the minor premiers Manly in the badge final today. All focus now turns to organising the charity day.
Charity day - $10 entry gets you lunch, great tennis to watch, games to play, prizes to win and an auction. 11am-4pm 24th July
The team dug deep and has made the finals to be played at Kooroora on Saturday 17th July.
6-2 down but with 6 tie-breakers and 17 aces the team made a solid stand, unfortunately it wasn't enough.
Tomorrow sees the boys in pink take on the might of the division's No.1 team, Manly ... all are hoping for good weather
Yesterday's 27 ace haul has taken the team's season ace tally to 91
The team served up a 27 ace to Cooper Park to win today's encounter 7-1.

Today's local derby between two Kooroora teams was tightly contested but the boys in pink were victorious in the end 6 sets to 1
The boys in pink dug deep to come away with a win serving 11 aces in the process including a timely second-serve ace by Ed
Ben and PJ split the last sets to secure another win for Team Pink, this time 5-3
Solid results by Frank and Somers puts the team up 4-2 for the day.
Ben and PJ were overpowered by Killara's first pair 3-6 4-6, hopefully Frank and Somers can even things up
The team was out-paced and out-gunned by Manly suffering a 6-2 loss
Weather wasn't the friendliest but the team persevered to record another 7-1 victory, this time against Cooper Park
The team wins its season-opening match against Chatswood 7-1 serving 7 aces in the process
