We started the new year by highlighting the intolerable pressure unpaid carers are under on @BBCBreakfast Unpaid carers desperately need more support to look after their own health and wellbeing. This and future Governments need to do much more. bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episod…
@CarersUK @BBCBreakfast Starvation, undervalued and left to financially struggling
@CarersUK @BBCBreakfast Really good segment this morning and Emily did a great job, as always, of getting the right points across.
@CarersUK @BBCBreakfast So true, thanks for highlighting. Keep up the good work.
@CarersUK They way you have ignored @WeAreCarers in this tweet is verging on abusive.
@CarersUK @BBCBreakfast Sorry but sometimes you wonder does anyone care about what unpaid carer go through it's easy to say things but that's no good wene no one does anything but words that does not help us you patting each other back does not help us sorry
@CarersUK @BBCBreakfast I’ll be watching all week. Thank you. I hope it helps to influence better support for unpaid carers. 💙
@CarersUK @BBCBreakfast Raising awareness is all very well But is meaningless unless accompanied by tangible help It's a waste of time appealing to the government for money to help carers There's none left, they've given it to all their mates Strategy needs to change from lobbying to direct assistance
@CarersUK @BBCBreakfast Would be nice to see some positive results this year!
@CarersUK @BBCBreakfast Kudos - need to raise awareness to support this critical group 🙏.
