Hey #Composition students, this is exactly why your instructors tell you not to cite #Wikipedia! #AaronBurr #highered

Education and dialogue are the only ways out of our troubles. We need to learn more about each other, listen to what others are saying, and start an open dialogue based on respect. Join this conversation if you’re an #FSWStudent in #SWFL!

@carrie19621753 Hey Carrie, yes I’m sorry it is too late. I turned my grades into on April 29. Sorry again and hope you have a great summer!

"It is obvious that the community is enjoying the lifestyle change of closer family bonds, a healthier diet and exercise and that it will continue and become our new 'normal.'" - A college student in #SWFL writing about #COVID19 for English Comp

Don’t write a “puny” essay. Always cite your sources! #composition #collegestudents #hulk

@JohnCur04256708 Twitter is by far my favorite social platform. Much more democratic than Facebook.

Only 4 more minutes to get your answers in! #Comp2020

And we are out of time. It's now 5:30 p.m. and you can all return to your regularly scheduled lives. Don't forget to keep checking Canvas for upcoming assignments and announcements. #Comp2020

@JacquelineDel4 Well it is good to shop online right now because you aren't leaving the house, but that means local businesses are struggling because they aren't making any money. #Comp2020

Question 4 in #Comp2020 for 4:30-5:30 p.m. section. This is the last one!

A4. I love buying books and it's important to buy them at local bookstores whenever possible. One benefit is that you'll find books you've never heard of before vs. at the big chains where they only have "best sellers." #Comp2020 huffpost.com/entry/10-reaso…

@Alexand81842362 Yes, you are correct. There are legitimate reviews out there that can be helpful. You should just check multiple sites and do your research (just like what we do in this class)!

Question 3 in #Comp2020 for 4:30-5:30 p.m. section.

What if I told you that companies pay money for fake reviews that boost product sales? #Comp2020

A3. 82% of U.S. adults say they at least sometimes read online customer ratings or reviews before purchasing items for the first time, according to a 2016 Pew Research Center survey. #Comp2020 marketwatch.com/story/can-you-…

@indjina Great point! This is the big debate. At what point does personal responsibility factor in?

Question 2 in #Comp2020 for 4:30-5:30 p.m. section.

@karinaledez Sadly there are cases where this is true. The tobacco companies, for example, have been making billions over the last few decades on cigarettes, which can cause cancer or other diseases.

@MelinaM67814728 And why do you think that is?
