NPR’s CEO Katherine Maher on the truth.
@CatchUpFeed She's just saying the obvious that we each have our own "truth" based on our personal experience which influences how we vote etc. That doesn't mean there isn't a real truth just that's it arrogant to think only you have the truth & everyone else has to be wrong.
@CatchUpFeed She keeps using that word. I think she's using the wrong word. #Truth
@CatchUpFeed She's merely articulating the way in which most women, especially American women, think about truth, not as something which is 'set in stone,' but as something people have to work upon together and find consensus, as "common ground."
@CatchUpFeed There 'Truth' and then there are 'opinions'. No such thing as 'my truth' it's just wordplay.
@CatchUpFeed She is confusing truth which is a binary thing and personal truth which appears to be someone's belief and talking about about them like they are the same.
@CatchUpFeed Ancient wisdom says that Truth is that which does not change. We fight about untruths. artofliving.org/us-en/wisdom/k…
