In the last 6 seasons at DePaul, Dave Leitao finished top 100 in kenpom twice, something no other DePaul coach has done in the last 6 seasons. Hire this man @UNC_Basketball.

Insane opportunity for Loyola. Short term: can build an at large resume in 2022. Long term: get a few wins in Atlantis and maybe high-major teams will be a bit less hesitant to schedule them moving forward.

I have a bone to pick with CBS/Turner. Their broadcasters have used my data (or something *very* similar) dozens of times in their tourney coverage so far. That's awesome! But they never credit the source of their data. ESPN is pretty good about this so it's not hard to do. (1/4)

I generally don’t put *too* much stock into judging conferences by NCAA Tournament performance, but it’s genuinely incredible that a week ago the Big Ten had 5 legit Final Four contenders. Now they’re down to 1, and it’s Michigan without one of their best players.

Big picture: The committee’s approach to building the NCAA Tournament bracket continues to take another step in the right direction. It’s not perfect, and lingering criticisms out there are fair, but we are time zones away from how this thing was assembled 15 years ago.
