Not so sure about that. It showed Hinata offering to help Naruto cheat, but he turned the offer down. But it doesn't activity showing Naruto, Hinata, or Shikamaru cheating. Sakura isn't the only one. So all four of them are the only ones that didn't cheat.

Anime & manga pretty much ended with the same results: Hinata lost. What part was a "filler"? Hinata standing up to Pain & having no one to back her up pretty much happened in both. No matter how long the fight was is irrelevant. If Sakura fought alone she wouldn't have lasted.

The difference is Sakura fought with outside help from team 10 & one member from team 3. Before Sasuke woke up to pummel 2 out of 3 sound, Neji & Tenten interrupted. Team work happened. Hinata had no help from the other teams. It was just her.
