@Its_Nova1012 I put C above C++ and python, but I'm also a C sycophant.
@manxlab I've built a relatively elegant app recently with just my knowledge of C, compilers, and assembly and Claude. The rate in which we can produce now is incredible, AI is a tool that I can't see any benefit to ignoring.
@ardent__dev I'm in University so a large portion of it has been word of mouth. I just recently launched to build public interest, but back end I've been showing it to students and professors, getting them interested, and involved in Alpha testing.
@matt_teeixeira I've thankfully been able to move into using my product heavily for course work and private coding projects, I've had a lot of help from Claude for the front end stuff, so it's funny to be using Claude to create an IDE that I then use to write my own code by hand.
@LeoBuilds_ Unfortunately not, but at the same time as an independent developer it's not entirely feasible. I primary write in C, and use MatLab for university work. The Javascript and CSS, for example, are utterly outside of my wheelhouse. But I do have a comment log and change log.
@manxlab I think it's likely it becomes a problem of improvement and integration. It will always be AI, but we'll be stepping toward increasing how easily it can predict what we want, complete required tasks, and integrating it more smoothly into every day hardware and software.
@AnthropicAI @AISecurityInst It's fascinating to see how capable the models are becoming, makes it seem more reasonable the amount of safety checks Claude has when using it to do automated tasks on a desktop. I wonder what the end game looks like of AI security, and autonomous task handling.
